One-way taxi fares
One-way trips are charged per kilometre with a minimum coverage of 130 km, plus driver bata. Waiting time is charged per hour. This makes the one-way cab the usual choice for long-distance, intercity drops where you will not need the car to bring you back.

One-way or round trip?
If you are returning with the same car — the same day or after a few days — a round-trip outstation taxi has a lower per-km rate. For short rides within town, book a local taxi.

TNTA is a network of member taxi drivers across Tamil Nadu. You can request this service for a pickup anywhere in the state; our team then confirms a member driver for your pickup point, date and time before the trip. TNTA does not list branch offices — bookings are handled by phone, WhatsApp and the booking form.

Is there a minimum distance for a one-way taxi?
Yes. The one-way tariff has a minimum coverage of 130 km.
Is there a charge for hill stations?
Yes. A hill station charge of ₹300 per trip applies, as shown in the TNTA tariff.
Can I add stops?
Yes. The booking form lets you add stops between pickup and destination for one-way trips.
Are toll, permit and parking charges included?
No. Toll, permit and parking charges are extra and are paid on top of the published tariff.
Do night charges apply?
